Yes, I know this is rather awkward, but I’ve been on LiveJournal for so long that I feel very comfortable there, especially when it comes to posting pics. So I’ve decided to create a good collection of pics which can be accessed by traveling through this mysterious Portal to the darkshadowspod LiveJournal.
Oh! And by the way…many thanks to Rick Roberts, who provided a great number of these images!

I wanted to comment on “Sarah” I listened to the two of you discuss Sarah and why it seemed no one seemed to know EVEN David that she was a ghost ..well they did avoid saying it but I also can see the confusion Sarah was played by a REAL little girl at the time and the show did nothing to make her APPEAR ETHEREAL like you would expect a ghost to appear earlier when ‘Josette” appeared they made her LOOK ethereal and she didnt walk on the ground but more hovered over the ground on that same line ANGELS they say can appear human if need be..not like the movies or tv but they CAN appear HUMAN at least to our eyes…and we may not know..so In that light I can see why people were confused just saying.. ALSO i was watching the part on netflix today when Barnabas held maggie in the cell in the basement of the old house..he was CRUEL and sadistic..but then i thought well HE did save the show..lol anyhow just thought I’d say this for what it worth..I too watched the show when it was first on TV think we’re of the same era here..anyhow its a great thing you have..keep it going..its great..love listening and laughing and re-missing not only the show but the news of the day and the commercials..etc..its great….

I really ENJOY your pod cast makes it so interesting I watched Dark Shadows like i said from wayy back there when it was first on tv I get some DVD”S from the LIBRARY here..which is great..and did watch even the first year of it without Barnabas DUE to the LIBRARY which I am grateful for even that was pretty good I thought..although I can see why it was faltering..in ratings etc..but it did have mystery..at least..and where i live now right ON lake erie I have collected some driftwood and SMOOTH STONES etc and they are truly GIFTS FROM THE SEA ..for FREE even..what’s better than that?? but I recall that statement VICKI made in the first year after she found that INFAMOUS fountain pen..which it was..WELL I hope you continue all this..Its great really great..

Really do enjoy your comments etc as the show unfolds I watch on NETFLIX and when i can get DVD”S From the library..as well..cant right now afford to buy them..but I am grateful for netflix although they STILL don’t have it all on there..available at least on INSTANT watch..thankfully some episodes are instant watch anyhow wanted to say I have a son now 20 who is autistic PDD-NOS has many developmental delays but is AWESOME he has watched some of it with me ENJOYS IT TO and does a great imitation that bat biting scene when Barnabas was cursed..its funny to watch him and he calls BARNABAS “BUZZ COLLINS” for some reason takes some couching for him to say BARNABAS he still has some apraxia of speech but he’s doing great..going to a great school a PRIVATE one for autistic kids..RIGHT HERE where we live..

It’s heartwarming to hear that a cozy old show from the sixties can have such an impact on families today. Keep watching, and keep listening! There’s loads of fun ahead, for both of you!
I also meant to say that most of what I said on GHOSTS comes from other series like people who have SEEN ghosts like UNSOLVED MYSTERIES and even some other videos I got from the library like on GETTYSBURG which I also believe it truly haunted and it makes sense when you think of it ..and from what they said these ghost re enact their normal routines over and over ..interesting i thought so when I heard your discussion on Sarah I was thinking of all that..
