as to the comment about VICKI leaving David in his room with Barnabas whom it is already established David is afraid of Barnabas etc and your comments on CHILD ABUSE all well taken for TODAY in the PRESENT TIME but at that time I can tell you FROM EXPERIENCE NO ONE cared NO ONE questioned PARENTS and their absolute well OWNERSHIP of their kids.. KIDS did what they were TOLD and no one questioned it or thought of child abuse nor were they concerned even when they witnessed it first hand..they just didn’t get involved ..even CHILD SERVICES turned a deaf ear and blind eye to it..that is my comment on that part of the story DS played true to form also the fact that everyone else trusted and LIKED BARNABAS and was absolutely convinced that DAVID was just imagining all this..and he was considered DEEPLY DISTURBED even to consideration of sending DAVID a mental place or somewhere to get OUT of COLLINWOOD altogether..
